ABOUT MARRAKECH

The Marrakech-Safi region is positioned as a major hub of sustainable development. Marrakech, as a global destination, attracts significant investments, reinforced by its air, road, and rail infrastructure. Flagship projects such as the high-speed train line consolidate its strategic position.

At the same time, major initiatives, including the exhibition center, technology park, regional agropolis, and local hospitals, showcase the region’s progress. Marrakech-Safi asserts itself as a key player, stimulating sustainable socio-economic development.

Marrakech has an extraordinary history; it now retains a very rich cultural and architectural heritage to explore.

The Museum of the Water Civilization in Morocco, “Mohammed VI,” in Marrakech is one of the most fascinating cultural sites related to water and a must-visit place in the city. Due to the richness of its architecture, its presentation, and the message it conveys: Humans and water in Morocco—the interplay of tradition and innovation—through installations, mock-ups, and new technology, as well as historic reconstructions, the AMAN Museum immerses visitors in a unique atmosphere. It will take you on a journey through Morocco’s hydraulic adventure and reveal the intricacies of water management and the Moroccan ingenuity in the entrepreneurship surrounding this vital resource.
